O Hospital Santa Ana iniciou, no dia 9 de março, a oferta da terapia conhecida como estimulação precoce, voltada a recém-nascidos de risco ou com alguma deficiência para o desenvolvimento motor e cognitivo. O serviço está disponível por meio do Centro Especializado em Reabilitação Auditiva e Intelectual (CER II), fornecendo orientação aos pais, responsáveis e cuidadores em estrutura 100% dedicada ao Sistema Único de Saúde (SUS). Também ocorre o acompanhamento dos bebês com foco na detecção e na diminuição da possibilidade de alterações neuropsicomotoras e auditivas. As atividades terapêuticas ocorrem de segunda a sexta-feira, das 8h às 18h, na Praça Simões Lopes Neto, 175 – Bairro Teresópolis.
Atendimento multiprofissional
Uma das características marcantes do CER II é o perfil da equipe, formada por 20 pessoas. De característica multiprofissional, o Centro dispõe de fonoaudiólogas, psicólogas, terapeuta ocupacionais, otorrinolaringologistas, neurologistas e assistente social para atender, em média, 154 crianças por mês. Os pacientes são encaminhados via sistema de gerenciamento de consultas (Gercon), da Secretaria Municipal de Saúde, por se tratar de um serviço ambulatorial.
O novo serviço faz parte do valor de R$ 9,1 milhões anuais conquistados junto ao Ministério da Saúde, em 2019. Além de possibilitar a implementação do CER II, o recurso contemplou as linhas de Cuidados Prolongados e a Unidade de Tratamento Intensivo (UTI) do Hospital. De acordo com estimativa da gestão, aproximadamente 5 mil pacientes devem ser beneficiados ao ano. Todos os atendimentos do Santa Ana são destinados aos pacientes do SUS, sempre encaminhados por hospitais de alta complexidade da Capital, além das UPAs e Pronto Atendimentos de Porto Alegre.
